According to Stripchat and many users, there are Broadcasting issues with the latest iPhone update (iOS 18.4).
Stripchat has published a message about a problem the platform is experiencing when streaming from an Apple-branded iPhone phone. The latest update of the iPhone operating system, version iOS 18.4, affects several webcam models that do not allow to stream normally or it is not possible to start the stream.
The platform says it is working on a solution to this problem and recommends streaming from a desktop computer or Android phone for now.
Some models report that they solved this problem by “downgrading” their operating system, i.e. going back to an earlier version of iOS. If you want to downgrade your iPhone, it is advisable to make a backup of your phone to avoid losing photos, videos, WhatsApp conversations, etc. A downgrade can be done by yourself through video tutorials that exist on the Internet or Youtube and would be the most advisable for privacy reasons. If you do not have enough capacity to do the downgrade, you can take it to a trusted technician, but you should keep in mind that your personal information may be exposed by the curiosity of the technician if he is not responsible with privacy.
We recommend all models to protect their information and not to accept help from unknown people on the Internet. Your privacy can be left vulnerable by installing suspicious apps on your phone.
Hopefully they will fix these issues with Stripchat for broadcasting in the latest iPhone update (iOS 18.4) soon and everything will be back to normal.
